ELB Equipment has two priorities navigating through the coronavirus pandemic:
– To ensure the health and safety of our staff, customers, partners, and the broader community – To ensure business continuity for our many customers that rely on us for ongoing parts and service
To that end the company is employing the following steps:
– All staff have been instructed on proper handwashing and other hygiene to prevent the virus’ spread – Staff have been instructed to observe social distancing, limiting contact or working in close quarters – Branch staff have been prohibited from proximity or contact with staff from other branches to reduce the potential for multiple sites experiencing a shutdown – Inventory levels of critical components are high – Staff travel is limited to essential travel only
The company has been in communication with all of our major vendors. At this stage, the supply of spare parts is expected to be consistent. However, special order and rush order parts may experience delays due to the disruption of air routes.
In the event that a branch is forced to close due to the virus:
– Customers, vendors, and partners local to that branch will be notified – Provision has been made for all parts shipments to continue via other branches – Field service will be handled ad-hoc depending on the conditions on the ground – Remote technical support will be provided by phone
At present all ELB Equipment branches intend to remain open for business Monday to Friday.
